Antonio Sanchez, Downbeat 2009 Readers Poll Multiple Grammy winning drummer Antonio Sanchez was voted as being one of the best drummers around in Downbeat Magazine's 74th Annual Readers Poll. Results placed him among such greats as Jack DeJohnette, Roy Haynes, Brian Blade, Jeff "Tain" Watts, and Louie Bellson.
